Terry Vaughan
Publix ISE Team Lead
Jackson teaching Terry how to “Grandpa”. Like everything Terry does, he excels!
Terry Vaughan has been in the grocery business longer than a lot of folks have been shopping for groceries. Terry started with Grand Union in Atlanta in 1970 as a mere part timer before becoming a store manager, buyer, category manager, and eventually merchandising services manager. He went on to work for various companies over the next 40 years including A&P, Sam’s Club/Walmart, and SuperValu. Lucky for us, Terry got bored with retirement and needed something to do!
Terry & Jackson with a big catch!
Terry finally came to his senses and joined the Koch & Associates team in 2015 as the manager of our award-winning Publix ISE Set Team and we are thrilled to have him.
Terry manages the regional Koch Set Team four days a week and, lucky for him, he’s an early riser- He gets to the store at 5AM and even motivates everyone when he shows up! Terry is loved by his team members and has a regular 100% completion rate while maintaining superb relationships with his stores as well as the Publix account. Terry is an excellent leader and teammate with many a Publix manager commenting on how lucky we are to have him- And we couldn’t agree more.
Terry does have some free time and loves to spend it fishing on his property in Cartersville, Georgia. He loves to show his grandson Jackson the ropes- err. Hooks. Terry also enjoys planning and attending the “Good Ole Grocery Boys” outing where he, along with several old coworkers and acquaintances, travel and enjoy a trip together every year.
Last but not least, Terry loves spending time with his wife and family. He’s a pretty lucky guy!
